![]() few I took at the races yesterday. Using 5d Mk 2 70-200 2.8 on AV mode at 50 ISO. How did I do boys and girls??? And I cannot tell a lie, I did partake in some adult refreshments, so my eye was off a little. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Doug Photo 1 ![]() Photo 2 ![]() Photo 3 ![]() Photo 4 ![]() Photo 5 ![]() Photo 6 ![]() |

Great to see a different sport here. The biggest thing I notice in your shots though is that they are fairly soft. They also appear to be shot WAY too wide (93mm). You need to FRAME tight, not crop tight. Even with all those megapixels, you can't crop so heavily and get sharp results.
Shot 5 shows the sharpest results - but even it is framed way too loosely. And, if you crop down on it now you'll start to show that softness. On second inspection I'm going to suggest part of the problem is simple motion blur as well - 1/2000 would have been my suggestion for stop-action (non panning) shots. |
