Thanks for the answers regarding the colour combo on the horse. Clipping makes sens as the pattern looks exact.

Once, my wife was thrown from her horse and landed on her back onto pavement. She was wearing her helmet, and was able to walk away from it. But for the next several weeks, from her tailbone to her neck, from shoulder to shoulder and hip to hip, her back was the most amazing collection of colors, none of which were pink. Edit: I asked, but she declined to let me photograph it. |

very scary! and i can understand her not wanting a picture! hahahahaha
when i was shoeing horses at the local race track, i rode with one of top blacksmiths in the U.S. and i was learning from him. he was about 6'3" and very healthy. he was shoeing this 3yr old filly about 14-15 hands, her back right foot, and she jerked so hard, it looked as if my friend got hit by a fast moving car! it threw him a good 20 feet. it is amazing how powerful these animals are! come to find out she had a stifel problem! |

I haven't ridden one in years, however, and have no intention of starting up again. |
