Nice shots SSL, but  what is with that first guys leg??

SportShotsLive Aug 27, 2006 4:06 PM

Thanks!

You know, I have no idea - looks like a trick leg...As I was editing the photo, my wife looked over my shoulder & made the same observation about the oddness of this kid's knee joint too.

Very strange indeed!

Nice first outing. I'm ahead of you by all of 1 game in my soccer shooting experience :-)so I can't offer much. In truth, I find it to be a difficult sport to get interesting shots in - it's not that there isn't action just that it isn't AS predictable as other sports and even when you can predict where it will occur other players have a nasty tendancy to get in the way :G

I also have to agree - I cringe looking at the hyper-extended leg in the first shot.

Thay're all excellent shots, well done.

I think that leg only looks like that because of the shin guard.

Thanks for all the comments - much appreciated! :G

Please let me know how I can make these shots better as I would like to start submitting them to our county newspaper.

(Presently, I am a freelance baseball & football contributor)

I personally don't think you could make them better with the exception perhaps of the DOF. Look at the FIFA site and compare

The action has to be there and YOU have to be there with the action.
