Huddersfield & District Soccer

Hi all here's a few shots from some games this weekend. Light was terrible very Dark & raining :frown:, really struggled with shutter speeds as I don't have the comfort of pushing over 1000 on the D2h's!!, but these things are sent to try us??. had to shoot tight to try and avoid any noise from cropping, some worked, some didn't:redface:. C&C welcome Kind regards Graham.
PS there a lot sharper than the hosted pics, Honest!! LOL.

neat action shots!
have you noticed in action shots how people often have thier eyes closed, i shoot mainly horse riding and it amazes me how many people jump with thier eyes closed, its a good job the horse keeps its eyes open lol

I checked out the photos on the link you posted and they look sharp there. I am thinking that if you link photo from a different sight the might get resized in the forum and loose some sharpness?

I really like all the mud flying around. What lens are you shooting these with?

Hi Kazuya, thanks for the comments. It's hard to not shut your eyes when heading a ball but I wouldn' want to jump over fences with them shut LOL

Hello schent1, thank you for looking in. I have had a problem with my host for a while now!!, They've introduced a Pro "pay for" scheme lately which, I think means there over run with clients!!, which is possibly why quality is suffering. I used a 300 on one body & a 70-200 on another. Kind regards graham.
