Management found a way to cut energy costs by dimming the lights. Even at 1600 ASA, it's hard to stop action and still get a usable image.

That's actually a pretty cool shot, the way the background is so white and diffuse.

The blur looks good in the context.

What shutter speed were you using?

I had it at 1/90 or nearby. I tried overexposing 1.5 stops to get a better exposure on the players.

It was an experiment. I prefocused and waited for someone to come in range, and I put up withthe blur that came with aslowershutter.

I'm going to try more of that. I kinda like the result, although it could be composed better.
