Been a motor sport fan for years. Have heard of the Knockhill circuit over the years, but never seen any pictures.
Nice to see for the first time. I think they race motorcycles there, possibly vintage. If you ever get the chance it would be nice to see some old Matchless and Nortons in action. |

I will try and get back up to knockhill a few times this year and intend to get to at least one bike meeting , i will post pics if and when!

i was at knockhill this weekend just gone, it was also my first time and what fun as you say! i think i saw the marks that car 31 left behind! i hope to be back up there for the BSB round at the end of june next. let us know what lens you buy! cheers dd |

Iam going up to the superbikes at the end of june but can only manage the practice day! but it should be good, hopefully have a new lens by then!!!! still undecided tho. Cheers Colin |

fantastic - not sure which day i will up there, but i have just plumped for the sigma 17 - 70 as i am off to france at the weekend. not sure if this lens will be up to the job for knockhill, but i have a 75 -300 as well. slowly getting the collection together!

i have a nikon d50 with kit lenses 18-55 & 55-200, i have just ordered a 80-200 if ed f2.8 today, hope it arrives in time for the superbikes colinl |

Ideal, you will notice a huge difference with that lens especially on the focus speed for this sort of sport. The f2.8 you won't notice until you try field sports etc but you are going to love it!!!! It is also nice for portraits etc.

I take a fair amount of my son playing football and i hope i get better shots now,the one i tried in the shop was so fast to focus compared to what i have! (it was one of there rental lensesso i couldnt buy it there and then :sad ![]() colinl |
