I like the contrast of the sand against sky and the feeling of movement in the sand... only a shame that part of the feet are missing.

Yah, nice shot, but definitely better to have shot much wider, then carefully pick an artistic crop and you'd have a real keeper!

This is a nice capture. I would be nice to have had a "landscape" format, and a wider shot. The colors seem a little off. Do you mind if I play wih the color a little, and post it?Brad

bradg,

Why in the world do you think the color is off ? ? ? I know your eyes are probably better then mine but I just can't see a color problem here. I've already commented on this picture in another forum so scropionfish knows I love this picture. I really feel bad about the feet. Almost as if I screwed it up. Because I ( haven't we all ) have made this mistake too, but this capture seems special. The color... You can't fix what isn't wrong but it's scorp's picture.

PS: Brad... I'm not pickn' on ya. Us Ohio guys gotta stick together. This picture was in critiques and no one mention color. Some pretty good folks saw it there.

Dale, your right, this is a fantastic picture. The exposure looks very well thought out.
When I said the color was off, I was talking about what looks to be a lack of saturation, the whites in his socks seem blown, and the blacks in his hair look too dark.

Bad choice of words I guess.....prolly should have said too much contrast, and not enough saturation.

OK...

Now if you can add feet to the young man you'll make a difference.
