Maybe this belongs in the memory card forum but since it is about sports shooting I decided to put it here.
For those of you who are serious sports shooters like John G etc what memory cards do you use and recommend as far as speed and size goes for shooting action sports (basketball, baseball, football etc. I have been using 133x Transcend and Sandisk Extreme III cards with an A200 and A700 Sony Bodies. Should I be looking at 300x speed cards and Extreme IVs. Fir fire and rescue action shooting the extreme IIIs seem to be pretty fast. dave |

I use Extreme IIIs in all my cameras and never have a problem, even with the 1D mkIII. Unless your style of shooting is machine gunning then there won't be an issue so I wouldn't make a change.

I use Extreme III's in both my Canon 40D and 30D and have had no problems. I shoot a lot of sports and also fire/rescue operations(when not involved).
