Me and two friends went to Le Mans last weekend. 800+ miles in 4 days, wind, rain and loads of bikes!

All pictures taken with the Konica-Minolta 5D in sports mode. All pictures have been cropped to get the best frame capture.

The main problem I had was distance. Being at a major sporting event you are kept miles from the action so zooming and focussing, especially fast moving objects, was tricky so the clarity wasn't as good as I hoped. We werealso wedged together like sardines so panning movement was restricted too.

A friend of mine does600cc production racing here in the UK so I'm hoping to get to a track soon and get somebetter, closer, more professional looking pictures

The main man, Valentino Rossi

Shinya Nakano
