Amazing stuff. I never knew there was an actual jet engine r/c plane.

Yep, there sure are. Here is a video of that one being flown.

Also for something a little different, here is our top guy one his second flight which a new aircraft so he was still feeling his way, but you will get the idea of what can be done.

Fantastic set Mark, crystal clear.

All I can say is WOW and double WOW when I saw those vids. That guy Brain is some flyer. He did things Ive never seen anyone do before.
As a side note Ive always wanted to have a camera mounted in the cockpit and fly the plane while watching a monitor instead of the plane itself. I wonder if its possibility on a civilian level.

You mean Dean Brain ;), yes he is a clever lad and unfortunately I cant find any vids of him doing a proper demo flight.

You can now get live video feeds back from a flying aircraft quite cheaply so I'm sure with a couple of cameras for the view needed to land safely you could do it. I'm not sure of any safety protocols etc but sounds like a fun plan.

As the videos have gone down well you might like this.

This is one of the top RC Heli pilots in the world with the newer version of the heli that I'm hovering inverted in the above photo.

Well he has incredible control over his heli but I would think it would all get boring after a bit. Now with the camera and monitor its a whole new world. It would be as close to actually flying in a heli than anything else.
