Great shots...really crisp and sharp. A friend of mine has a Canon 7D and a F 5.6 400 MM Canon L lens. He's very happy with his bird, BIF pix.
Did you use flash or just available light ? Morning , afternoon or evening shots ? |

another good set Mark. Glad to see you're back into sports photography! I don't know much about the sport but what I do know is they're very particular about form and what is good vs. bad shot. So definitely something you want to research if you're going to shoot more of it - i.e. what looks like a great photo to us is frowned on because the horse or rider isn't showing good form. Still, a nice series.

Beautiful images, so nice and sharp and beautiful horses.
I got a good chuckle from #3. I'm sure John is right about the sport/judging side of things. Some of these (other than 3 and 5) may have captured some fouls or errors in the sport but your pictures are terrific! Andy |
