Soccer

I had the opportunity to shoot more soccer again. Some friends from school were playing informally and I took the opportunity to get more practice. The images have no PP. I tried my best to take into account the backgrounds in each shot. All feedback and critique is appreciated! I had to walk 7 miles to get to this location so I was just a little tired. lol. Thanks in advance!

I used a D70s dSLR and 70-300mm ED zoom lens to get the shots. The camera was set to aperture priority mode. ISO was 400 in the beginning and went to 800 once it got dusk.

very nice series - a couple are a bit overexposed - but that is easily adjusted in post processing. Try to avoid those angles where the parking lot is behind the subjects - much more distracting than the other backdrops. But very nice overall

Thanks for the tips. I'll work on it and post the results next time I go out to shot soccer again!

Hi, I'm guessing this was a training session then? (shirts V no shirts?):). Focusing is very good!, horizons are way out on a few though?, look forward to the real deal matches:). Kind regards Graham

I am going to do my best to work on my horizons. That will the one of the goals when I go back out today and shoot again. =) Thanks for the tips!
