Hercules,
The lighting or color just doesnot seem right to me. It was overcast I set the WB to cloudy. I do not have a very good eye for this sort of thing, but I tried to fix it still looks like it could be better. Not sure what to do. I used zoom browser and I also have elements 5.0. I got this shot because of John G's advice/help on this forum.I need to have a list of what to do for PP after I use my list to get the shot. HA! Ha! Thanks for looking. btrips |

Thanks! Never would havegot that shot with out your help! This was the first time I tried to perfocus in front of the goal and started shooting when the ball was kicked. My 30d has a lot more talent than I do! btrips |

Great timing btrips! I know what you mean, it almost looks as if a noise removal program was used. The players' jeseys seem "velvety" almost lacking detail. Im certain this wasnt the case since it was shot in plenty of light outdoors, just trying to put a finger on it. Do you use anysaturation in camera?

I hope you don't mind...I played with the levels and sharpened it up a bit. The picture looks good as it is but I see what you are saying about the lighting. I get that look sometimes in overcast pictures and have yet to find a way to significantly alter it in PP without losing color elsewhere in the shot. You could always ask the guys in the photo editing forum for help as they are GREAT with PP.
Just curious...is your son the blonde hair or brown hair? In the first shot I can't tell who is actually delivering the header. I think it's the brown and the blonde just missed...but I can't be for certain. Either way, great sequence of shots! ![]() ![]() |
