I was asked to be photographer for our provincials cross country meet which was a fun photo op. One magnificent runner who arrived from Ethiopia a few years back has been winning running meets right and left for the past few years and many believe that he will become an Olympic hopeful. I managed to grab a few frames of his run with the Mark III as well as a few other shots from today. The first few frames are shots of this magnificent young runner.

I like 3 & 4. They're all good but the background is a bit distracting in 1 & 2.

Thanks, John, I agree with the background. Unfortunately, I had to hang around the finish line to photograph 1st to 10th place finishers so I couldn't do too much wandering about.
