I like the first two shots a lot.
Nice composition, expressions. Shots 3 and 4 feel a little tightly cropped for my taste. Keep up the good work! |

Hey, Nice job.
#1 is definitely the sharpest, while # 4 is the most interesting. Both are good shots. #2 is also pretty good because something is going on - although, watch your exposures - this one could be bumped up a little. Only thing keeping #3 from being a really good shot is you can't see the ball - presumably it's in the mitt but you can't tell. Also, I think you know me well enough by now that I'm going to disagree with Terry about the crops :G- Tight is almost always better. Having a bunch of bystanders or empty field in a sports shot rarely (although there are always exceptions - especially if something about bystanders or the field is part of the story) adds to the shot. Overall, good job - thanks for sharing!! |

Thanks for the comments John. I did look at the sequence of shots and #2 was shot later in the day and I was losing what little sun we had. In #3 I was a little late with the push of the shutter button so I missed the ball but guess what both of the players did also. It was taken during between inning warm ups and they spent most of the time trying to beat each other to the ball, boys will be boys:lol:. I have the next 10 days off from work and some good weather predicted so it looks like a lot of pics are hopefully going to be taken. Thanks again John. You too Terry!!!!
