This seems worse, something is up somewhere as your 4th shot posted originally is perfectly sharp.
I would ping a PM to JimC to see if he has any suggestions if I were you to resolve this problem so hopefully soon you can see what you are expecting too which would be good. All I do is re-size, sharpen and save..... if you are using PhotoShop people say don't use 'Save for Web' so try the normal method, however I'm a PaintShop Pro user so not too sure. Then you should get the same sharpness as you see on your system, such as http://forums.steves-digicams.com/sp...w-jumping.html |

I do use the "save for web" feature. Here is the alternative method straight out of the image size menu with extra sharpening. Worse still. Go figure.

I noticed something when I uploaded pictures if they are larger than 253KB for JPG then it compresses them also so I always resize and make sure they are less than that as well as the height/width.
Awesome action. |

Below 250. Looks a lot better. Used bicubic sharper reduction. Good call.

Very sharp, nicely done. Did you do the edge sharpen and picture sharpening?

Its a reduction algorithm photoshop uses to sharpen images when they are downsized.

Thanks, I am aperture user. Thought it was a sharpening plug in.
