Thanks John,
I eliminated several and will make sure not to get carried away in the future! |
Your surfing pics are very, very good. A few more with face shots would be good but the action on the wave itself would not be as good. In this case, shooting the backside of a surfer is definitely acceptable if not, preferred by me when viewing such shots as surfing.
I have a cousin (Kaipo Jaquias) now retired pro had many shots taken and my favorite has always been the layback slides and slashes. Love to see more. Mahalo, Tom |
Thanks Tom,
A lot of the pics were taken from the Sebastian Jetty and almost ALL the waves were rights so I couldn't get a lot of face shots or surfers "coming towards me". I've definitely heard of and seen your cousin the mags. Kaipo rips!! http://cache.viewimages.com/xc/15628...0A760B0D811297 |
these are great shots.... tons of action going on here... the water looks so nice... I'm guessing these were shot from the beach??.. what lens?
|
hauntfreaks,
Thanks! About half theshots were taken from the jetty and half from the beach. Nikon D300 with Nikkor 80-400mm lens. |
