The framing of 1 and 2 are good. #3 clips off the ams too much.

I noticed that these pics were shot at 95mm. Next time try shooting the same series at 80mm. Others on this forum would like to see all 6 or 8 swimmers launching off the blocks to capture the full 'spirit andcompetitive natureof the sport' but as these shotsare focusing ononepersonI think the series of shots is good except only that you needed to zoom out just a bit.

The angle tells me you were stuck in the stands with every one else. If this is true, try approaching your club to be its photographer and come down on deck with everyone else which will improve the shooting angle by being lower. The ideal shot angle is low, as low as possible.

Keep shooting and posting!

Spy,
Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you on the third shot. As you know, it is difficult to get good full frame images off the start.

In regards to wanting to see all 6 lanes, I shot the following at 70mm. I persosonally do not like it as much because of the background clutter (swimmers standing along pool).

Any comments?
Allen
