This is a first for me.
Our church held a table tennis competition today for our members. Most of us have played a little but are not at any great standard but there are a few who play for teams so needless to say they came out on top. I was many shooting video with the SX1 and 5D mkII but took a few shots with the 1D mkIII and 85mm f1.8. I was still having to work at ISO 6400 to get a good shutter speed as the day went on and the light reduced from the windows. I know these are not great and the backgrounds are a bit distracting but that's all I could do with the time and environment. Thanks for looking and and C&C appreciated. Mark |

I think that the top one is the best, the look on the face of sheer concentration is amazing, really sucks you into the picture.
Plue the fact you can see the ball clearly helps you to understand the picture even more as you can tell that the bloke is trying to work out the dynamics of when and where to hit the ball! |

Hi -
Still new to this forum, nice shots. I played in leagues for 20 years.
