This is my first time taken tennis shots.
They turned out ok for the sun being in the wrong place half the time. Try to ignore the backgrounds , couldnt do much about it. They dont have a very good court. They still looked good i think for my first tennis shots. just clik on next on after looking at first one. http://www.pbase.com/image/28019800 ![]() |

Yankeegurl, your shots are getting more and more professional looking every time I see a new post. I guess practice "does" help! As for the background, perhaps if you could find a way to open up the aperture more, since you are getting very accurate with focus, you might be able to subdue that fence background a bit more so you wouldn't have to consider using photoshop to blur? You seem to be getting to the "talent" point where you might consider trying a real shallow DOF so that you won't need to worry about backgrounds (for some shots but certainly not for all since sometimes the background isn't a problem at all).
Great shots! |

thanks for all your great comments!
yeah its my first time taking tennis shots. not sports in general. Its not really the blur or clearity of the background so much, its the fence and cars , i wish it was just cleaner as in not so busy thats all. my settings are on auto ,sports , with the 7.5 fps set on burst mode. |
