One of the last great venues to give a true feel for baseball as it was once viewed all across America. Today most games are played in new, frilly ballparks with exploding scoreboards and in-between inning games and shows because everyone thinks you have to have that today with baseball. Not so. I had a chance this past weekend to travel to Wrigley Field and see 4 games. Until you get a chance to go to a REAL ballpark like Wrigley or Fenway in Boston, or if you are old enough and lucky enough to have been somewhere like Brooklyn back in the 50's you just don't know how lucky Chicago and Boston are to still have these treasures to see professional baseball played. Here is a small collection of photos I took this past weekend while there. There are one or two action shots , but this portfolio is more a tribute to the wonderful style of the ballpark and how the club has been able to incorporate one or two nice improvements yet keep all the character in the grand old park and surrounding neighborhood. All taken with my Digital Rebel and either the 17-40 f4L or 70-200 f4L zooms. All images shot in RAW format and processed in Capture One.

Thank-you for the tour of Wrigley.(kicking myself for not going to Tiger Stadium before it vanished)
