Thank you. Your input is appreciated. I prefer the first due to the shadow effect defines the depth of the subject face alittle more, but the 2nd is also nice due to the coverage of the overall flash. One was using a white reflector umbrella with bounce flash and the 2nd using same technique with exception of using a silver-lined umbrella with bounce flash. Identical cameras, and flash (D200 and SB-800) and identical settings for exposure, shutter speed. |

hey i just posted to your thread. very good thread, lighting is sometimes very hard in different enviroments, specially outside, when you have sun and clouds and it changes every 5 minutes. its really a pain.
