Really like that first shot. Nice context.

I like the concept of the 2nd shot very much as well. The shot is hurt by a lack of detail though.

The 2 in the rock gym not as interesting. From a subject standpoint it's just less interesting. Similar to taking a shot of a baseball player in a batting cage vs. a game. The flash burn in the first shot and the shadow in the second distract.

Again, I can appreciate the effort of the athletes so I'm not diminishing that - but it's the photographs not the athlete that are the subject. From a photography perspective I think the 1st shot is quite a bit more effective than the others. The second shot could be if it had more detail.

Keep em comming though. It's great to see other sports on the site.

Thanks for your input! its always good to have other opinions/suggestions. Otherwise, how do we improve?! =)

I see what you are saying about the indoor/gym pics, that definitely makes sense.
