Thanks Rothwellsmith and Dustin for the compliments!
For shot #7, I had the athlete positioned just under the ceiling lighting and ISO's set to 1600. This gave him and highlights strong features. The exposure was set just below centre so the non highlights being the background and lower facial features would be darker and could be burned in PP using the midtone and shadow burn tool. Hope this helps. Kevin Last edited by spy; Feb 16, 2011 at 8:43 PM. |

Excellent work Kevin! I especially like the second photo on your first set, the girl doing the backstroke, I love the look of the water coming off the goggles!!!!

Im sorry Kevin but these are not sports shots.
They look more like art, then sports action shots. C'mon man..., your WB is perfect, the images are sharp, the colors pop, no harsh shadows, horizon is straight, composition is great. I think you posted in the wrong forum. Please remove them, your making the rest of us look bad. Thats the only bad thngs I could find to say about your work LOL |

Kevin - Very nice set. I really like the second shot. It almost as if it was painted - very cool.
