Have not posted here for a while and have a new toy now. Have recently purchased a new camera Olympus OM-D E-M1.
Took the kids to a Kids Tennis Day at Melbourne Park today and Australian Open Qualifying Rounds in the afternoon. Any way here some shots taken with the E-M1 & Lumix 45-150 f4-f5.6 lens from the Qualifying Rounds. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by TG; Jan 12, 2014 at 7:42 AM. |

Nice set. Hard to get great shots from the crowd. Looks like you had luck with good lighting as well. I know you were limited with that lens. I like 2,5 and 7. Those were my favorites. I'm sure JohnG can really critique these if you want. He's shoots sports really well and may be able to break them down for you.

Does your lens not open past 5.6?
For me, these have way too much depth of field.

These were just casual shots just wanted to see what the Olympus OM-D E-M1 (Micro 4/3) camera & Continuous AF are capable of with some action shots. Thought it might be interesting to post these in the Sports & Action section so people can see what another camera system is capable of instead of just seeing pictures taken with DSLRs. A nice set of shots given that you don't have the benefit of being a member of the press gang- and thus the best spots for photographs...!
I like the third pic with Heather Watson about to give it some "wellie"...!! ![]() |
