A much anticipated review I suspect (certainly by me..!) and the D300/300s DNA evident.... which is good... :)
As much as the camera- I'm curious as to the lens used for the review shots outdoors... very nice consistent sharpness across the frame at wider angles...
High iso performance looks very good at more sensible ranges (3200-6400)- especially with re-sized images....
I see you've moved a tad to the right for the fire station shot.... ;) #Tree

Thanks Simon. I always look forward to your comments.

The lens used for the outdoor photos I take, as well as the M&M man ISO shots, was the AF-S NX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR lens. I will add a note to the samples page.

Yeah, I love trees and all, but I wish that one would come down! LOL. If you've been following our reviews for long, you may remember that I used to take that shot from a completely different angle. Well, then they decided to knock the building down, and build a new fire station. You've got to love change...

Cheers,

Thanks for the reply Billy... the lens looks a "good-un"...
I think the ol' 40D was the cut off before the new fire station shots... :)
