A real handsome little chap- I just wished the IQ was a tad better- though as a "point and shoot" for the non pixel peepers, could be just the ticket...

Every camera is a compromise of sorts. It is amazing how much quality technology can be packed into such a tiny package these days. In terms of handling, control placement, etc., this is much like a Nex 5R (but not a 6 or 7) with a bag full of lenses - you go with optical zoom from 25mm (35mm EQ) at 1 1/2 inches "macro" to 500mm EQ telephoto (20X) without relying on the "clear view" digital zoom (40X). With this 3 3/4X2 1/4X1" camera in a pouch on your waist you can be ready for nearly anything. Perfect? No - with some Mickey Mouse features for photo newbies, it is not a substitute for your primary camera on a photo outing, but to have along in other circumstances (or as a second camera with extended lens options) you can hardly go wrong. With today's photo editing tools, I doubt the very good but not excellent IQ should be that much of a hinderance. And for just over $200 (available US import, New, for as little as $224) how can you go wrong?
