To anyone that could help me, I am very new at all this
I just bough a Novatron 600 watt pack and go studio lighting system w/3 lights. I haven't gotten my light meter yet, but I was reading about studio lighting, and found that it stated that there is some studio lights that you can adjust the power by 1/3 , 1/2, or 1 stops...... I beleieve that my lights don't have such adjustments as 1/3 or 1/2 stops but instead full stops. One of my lights has a an on option, -2 option, and -1 option The other light has an on option, off option, and -1 option The last light has no options My question is Does it matter which light I use as my main, fill, and hair light. Since one of them doesn't have an adjustment at all it would then be hard to set my main light let's say at 1/60 f8 and then set my fill at 1/60 5.6 if i use the light that doesn't have adjustments, letting me to beleive then that the one with no adjustments is my hair light. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help answer my questions Sincerely, Silvana |

Not trying to sound like I'm being a wise-guy, but my advice is to read your manual. It should tell you why your particular lights are set up the way they are & how to use them. Without having owned your particular setup, any answer on particulars is just going to be a best guess.
