I am hoping that I can get some input on purchasing a new portable background stand. This is a stand that I want to be able to use both in my home studio as well as on the road.
What I am looking for is heavy duty construction and durability as well as functionality. I would like to purchase one that can be used with 2 uprights in a 9-10' wide configuration as well as a 18-21' configuration with a 3rd upright. I will be using it with all types of backgrounds - fabric and paper. I will sacrifice weight for heavy-duty durability. Although it does still need to be portable. (break down to 4' sections) I have been looking at the Dynatran AS-015-2. I do not want a flimsy stand that is hard to work with. I want to put it up and not have to worry about it. Anyone have some tips for me? Any help is greatly appreciated! Dale |
