I see more nudity on National Geographic than I see on this board. I thought only Americans were prude when it comes tophotographic expression. Now look at good old "Leonardo"......he let it all hang out...and in Church yet.

Whow this is a pretty heated forum isn't it.... I have to agree, I came to this forum looking for Studio Lighting information and found lesbian porn :-). It doesns't bother me, but the original thread did have to do with shooting children. Don't get me wrong the work is beautiful, but we're just a handful of ameteurs trying to learn photography not how to shoot porn. Or should I use the politically correct term Artistic Nude? :roll: Just remember kids are easily influenced, the more they see something the more common and acceptable it becomes, therefore they do. I.E. smoking adds.

Anyway,

I am thinking of picking up some Alien Bees. Specifically, the Beginner kit which comes with 1 -AB800 and the then later getting the Backdrop kit. Isn't this a better combo than the Digikit which comes with two AB400's? The price difference is only $50.00 and I don't have to spend it all at one time? Should I also look at the JTL products (Castledude?)

I love Studio lighting now.. Yes, I am hooked on my Alien Bee AB800's with the Joesauction wireless triggers and the Sekonic L358 meter. I am still an ameteur but definately getting better.

Well I have to admit I took offense to the idiot who felt like trashing someone for trying to help a beginner. I'd put my stuff up against most people these days and it's only been 4 short months!!!
