ok i have had a few photogs go on and on about lighting temperature. at work we use targets, the ones with the white, 18%gray, and black lines to set mainly exposure. i just bought one from photovision. so i have been using it quite a bit, and whats cool is you can set your white balance with it also! does anyone else use these as well. i found an article about lighting temp and a graph please feel free to copy and paste. but it is so much easier to shoot the target. and get the correct settings.

here are 2 examples of me using the target, the first is kind of blue, i had to use that setting inside the church, i shot it again outside and as you can see it changed it to the correct setting for outside.

I use a small sheet from Kodak. I have the model hold it up during the first few shots. Of course, that's when I'm not using the studio. Anytime under the lights, it's 5600K.
