Does anyone know of a Softbox manufacturer that makes a size greater than 54" x 72" ? I am looking to find one 72" x 96".

I have searched Google & B&H, but no luck.

Any info would be appreaciated.

Thank you,

-Chet-

54"x74" is the largest I've seen. You may have to use Mother Natures softbox, the overcast day.

Thank you for responding.

Unfortunately, Mother Natures softbox will not help for an indoor photoshoot.

You could make your own. Take a large piece of diffusion material, mount and suspend it, then place two or even three strobes behind it. Voila, your large softbox (sort of).

Westcott has an Octabank, (octogon shaped) that is 77" x 77", but it also has a price tag of over $800

The tinkertubes book has plans for a softbox that might work for you; all you'd have to to do is modify the dimensions.
