Default Sunpak

I have a CP5K and would like to buy the Sunpak 4000 or 5000, and have two questins
1. Which one is compatible with the CP5K?
2. Can this be used to bounce flash?

I tried search on this site and the web for this info and find no answers to the above.. Thanks.

Default RE: Sunpak

I have a CoolPix 5K and it works just fine with an old Sunpak 383 Flash. Unfortunately, even when using Nikon's own flash units the CP5k only triggers the flash. You don't get TTL metering or other advanced flash features. If you have the latest firmware upgrade, you have the option of turning off your internal flash and only using the external flash. If you want to uses more than one strobe, you'll need a special adapter. Sunpak makes a bounce attachment for the 4000. Another option is the Nikon SB-30 which has built in wireless features for multiple flash use.
