I've got a couple of old Sunpak TTL flash heads that don't have PC connectors. I want to be able to clamp them onto light stands and trigger them with sync cords.

So I'm looking for some gadget that mounts to the bottom of the shoe mount on my fine Sunpak flash, has a connector that will accept a sync cable, and contains a tripod or light stand mount underneath.

Sonia makes what they call a Slave Attach Hot Shoe. It hasa PC connection and a standard 1/4-20 thread to mount to a tripod or light stand that can accept the 1/4-20 threads. They also have a syncro eye slave unit attachment that can be triggered with the flash from your camera. I've found them with the slave unit on e-bay for around $12, and they work great. Sonia is a company out of India. there are other similar products too.

Perfect, Caboose -- thank you! An inexpensive and straightforward solution to an otherwise messy problem.
