Is there any rule what backdrop to use with different hair colour ,skin tones etc,

I don't think there is really a rule for the backdrop color. I always use a dark Grey large background in a bag if I have to use a backdrop. I can adjust my backdrop lights to either darken or make it appear lighter. I can even change the color in photoshop if I want to. I have two of the backdrops so if I do a full body shot I can put one on the floor and sweep it to the upright for continuous effect.

Just remember to keep your subject away from what ever back drop you use so you get no shadows on the background.

Thanks for the reply Ronnie, I`m using an old window blind at the moment :-)
I have ordered some backdrops in different colours.I just want to give people the choice of alternative backdrops,different colours etc.
