Hi everyone

I just wanted to check what is your recommended photo processing workflow? That is, do you follow a standard set of steps after taking a picture (e.g. import the photo, then remove red eye, then crop the picture).

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Best Regards

This is my workflow:

1) Insert the memory card in the card reader and plug it in and automatically transfer all pictures to the computer.

2) In the thumbnail page I select all images that needs to be rotated (my camera does not support automatic rotation) or deleted right away. The rotation is done by setting the orientation flag only (very fast).

3) In fullscreen I review all my shoots and delete the ones which didn't make it ;)
If a crop is necessary, I also do this in fullscreen (lossless JPEG crop).

4) Red-Eye comes next if neccessary

5) EMail or print a few. For a good collection I create a web page right away.

The last step is to copy the pictures to an external USB-Drive which will then be burned to a DVD eventually.

I'm using cPicture to do all the steps.
