I wanted to let anyone who has had a problem cleaning the chip inside there digiral cameras, I have finaly found a product that works. Kinetronics has a semi-new product out called a CAI (Canned Air Ionizer) that seems to clean the chip without touching it. I have used cleaning swap sticks with solution, but I try to avoid that if at all possible. I use a Nikon D1X and have found it to be quite a dust magnet. I open the shutter blast it with the CAI and as I'm spraying I turn off the camera which closes the shutter instantly. I would say it gets 95% of the dust out.
Any other sugestions would be appreciated. Herb Booth |

Is it certified to be free of oils and/or other contaminants? Most canned airs have some traces of contaminants.
