I will be the first to admit that photography has not come naturally to me.
To that end, I usually try to frame a nice shot in camera, or create a nice framing afterward using software. I'm sometimes disappointed that other professional photographers seem to always choose nicer framing than me. I'm well aware of "rule of thirds" and all that stuff. But why is it that some photographers seem to pick a nice framing whereas others like myself struggle with it? |

Some people are more visually "musical" than others.
The same reason some composers come up with better "tunes" than others, or some writers come up with better phrases than others. You can improve through practicing your "seeing," though, taking lots of pictures and criticizing them, and looking at others' photographs. The fact that you recognize your own imperfections is a start. |
