We all start out that way, Dale. The shame of it and the wonder of it, too, is that, no matter how much we learn about PS, there's always more to learn.

Great Site B. I am also a newb when it comes to PhotoShop. I have been learning on PhotoShop Elements 2.0 and hope to switch to the big daddy soon.

I wish Elements had been around when I first got into all this. I bought Photoshop, then spent at least a year without a single clue as to what I was doing. My husband uses Elements, and though he fusses and fumes over it, he knows a heck of a lot more than I did after the same amount of time with PS Monster.
