recorded some footage but will only playback in fast forward with no sound. any ideas on how to fix this problem if possible would be appreciated.

Okay nobody is answering this post but I have an older Pentax Optio.

Are you sure you don't have the setting on for capturing video at 2x 3x or 4x speed? My camera has those settings so you might want to dig around the menus and make sure you didn't set it faster than 2x.

My old optio doesn't record audio, I hope yours does (check the manual).
