I am planning on shooting some hockey shots for a local D3 college hockey team. I do know the arena is very poorly lit and I do have a Speedilite flash. I am just curious as to what you think for exposures and white bal. A Friend of mine suggested just shooting in the "sport" mode on my Cannon XT, but I'd rather use manual.

What do you think? I'd be interested in your thoughts.
