Default Tips for shooting Football

Hello all. Here is the deal. I have a Nikon Coolpix 4300 (Standard, No Extra Stuff) and a small tripod. I am going to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia this Friday to see the Tennessee Volunteers battle the Clemson Tigers. This is where I am sitting basically:

Click on Section 103

I will be that far from the field and I am wanting to take pictures of the game. The best ones I can, closeups, basic pictures anything. What are the best settings, tips, and tricks I can use to achieve my goal. Thanks everyone.
