when you cut an image out of one picture & paste it into another? Can you download an image from the internet, cut out the part you want, & paste it into a pic? Any sites talk about this & how to do it? This is a great site & I'm really trying to get into digital photography. Learn about shutter speeds, exposure & such. I have a Sony MVC CD400. I really like this camara. Thank you for any help.

Photoshop (from Adobe) is a good one, but may be to much for you if you are a beginner. A good idea is to try a simple one . I still use my first “PhotoDeluxe” version 1.1 that came with my scanner or printer long time ago. Take a look here: http://www.steves-digicams.com/digsoftware_editors.html There are also freeware, shareware also ( I don’t know which ones are good) Current version of photo editor usually offer a 30 days trial version ( Adobe photoshop, Adobe Photo Elements, Ulead Photo Impact) you can download from their website. |

You might like to consider copyright aspects before you do what you describe.

Thanks for the replys. I figured it was called cut & paste, but I figured there was more of a technical word for it. Cut & paste is easier. I was going to use pics that I took myself & maybe one from the net to print & give to my mom.
