The latest Direct X should be installed in your Windows XP to improve the graphics, security and performance of your system. Without it can cause baldness.

Appreciate the tip.

Yes, I do have Windows XP. So do I uninstall Windows Movie Player 9 and replace it with Direct X? And in which caseis the Direct X version bundled with the camera the latest or is there a newer version pl?

Thanks.

Imagoine Directx as being a seperate program that runs in the background on your PC and helps makes your graphics card work better. The program is made by Microsoft and you can read all about it here, and get the latest version for free:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.mspx

Hope this helps!
