Take a close up of that page from the manual you keep refering to.



Look at the picture on you LCD, blow it up, read it on the road. Keep that picture handy on your memory card.

I often hike with my camera. If it's a new place, the first picture I take is of a map of the site (if I can find one.) That way, I have a good chance of not getting lost.
