what should i set my camera to for the best results? Thanks in advance

might be a stupid question... i dont know if it really has the capacity to take pics of the moon clearly...

The moon is in bright sunlight so use the old "Sunny f/16" rule: shoot in bright sunlight with an aperature of f/16 with a shutter speed of 1/ISO. With an ISO of 100, shoot at f/16 & 1/100th, or f/11 @ 1/200, or f/8 @ 1/400th, or f/5.6 @ 1/800th, ...

Use that as the starting point and bracket.

Anyways... can you explain to me what the "Sunny f/16" is? I always hear about it on the forums, just doesnt know how it applys or whats it for.

itll be a full moon again tonite.

Anymore suggestions? The highest my caerma would go is F8, so I set it up at 1/400... looks kinda dark. And it says in red in the top left corner "-2". What does that mean?
