I have thought of making this a series, reflecting the best sites of excellent photographers...anyone interested?

As an illustration of what I'm mean:

Thanks, Kalypso. Amazing stuff. I am a member of the Panasonic forum. I have begun phtography with digicam. Ira's photos are a good benchmark. I realise I have a long, long way to go.

I look forward to visiting this site often, so please continue the 'series'.

Cool idea.

One artist that remains in my"Favorite Artists" list on Pbase is Mary Duprie. You can see her galleries here:

P.S.

Inmy eyes (and I'm no expert on fashion or glamourphotography), we could all learn a lot about this type of photography by studying her results (and she works hard, posting new galleries very often). It's very good stuff!

For candid photos and lighting enthusiast, You guys should have a look at pictures by Rarindra.

Maybe he is not a famous photographer, but his creation is truly amazing. And guess what ? Most of his photos were taken only by consumer digcam (even though recently he's just got Canon G5 :-).

Up to now, I've never find such a nice 'story-telling' picture like these. He's really the masterclass of lighting.

The picturebelow is one of them. Hope it useful
