My PDR-M700 takes great pictures - as long as there's enough light. But, when the flash is on, the pictures are lousy. I finally did some experimenting in a dimly lit room. The best exposure was with available light - no flash! When I turn on the flash, the pictures get darker!
My camera was one involved in the recall for the battery/power supply problem so I'm actually on camera no. 2. They both exhibited the same problem so I'm pretty sure it's not just my camera. I sent Toshiba tech support EMail and two sample pictures back on Oct. 8. Despite several more reminders and inquiries, they have yet to respond to me. Has anyone else here had flash problems? |

Hello- Someone in this group suggested putting black tape over the flash sensor to increase the intensity of the flash. All that have done this have had good luck it seems. I have yet to do it myself. Huent1 |

If he read Steve's review of the M700, he would not have been surprised by the flash output. Or lack thereof.
