Thank you. I just upgraded my Gateway T50 from version 0.33 to 0.37, as per your instructions. I, too, notice some improvement in between-shutters delay.

I was disappointed, though, that the green bias of indoor photos (even with sunlight-similar lamps) remains.

I performed the .37 upgrade. Although the iso 50 selection is present and selected, the picture data still shows iso 100. Also in program mode the iso 400 selection is no longer available. In manual mode, only 100-400 modes are available. Any one alse seem this. I am still playing with the new firmware to see any differences. My dc-t50 takesgreat photos most of the time. A little inconsistent at times though. This is my first digital camera. Does any one know where to locate the .33 firmware in case you want to go back?

Do you know where to get firmware 3.3 in order to go back as a backup?

Has anyone else had luck upgrading the Gateway DC-T50? I've tried it using two different SD cards and it won't recognize the new firmware, just boots up as normal.

Any tips? I've tried it plugged into AC, AC + USB, USB... Hold power and Up for long time, Hold Up extended period of time w/ short press of power, etc...

Was the SD card completely blank? Any other tips? Any help would be much appreciated...

I just updated the firmware on my T50 as per Antitorgo'sdirections/linksfrom .25 to .38. I was hoping it would accept my 1 gb PNY SD card, still won't. Didn't notice much difference in shutter speed, it still seemsslow. While in Setup mode,I held the UP button down as I tapped the power button to boot it with the firmware on the root of the freshlyformatted (with the camera) PNY 256 mb SD card. Make sure you wait until it confirms the update 100%, took about 45 sec.
