The door where the batteries go in my camera will not stay shut. A few of the plastic pieces on both the bottom of the camera and the door have broken off sothe batteries will not stay in. Does anyone know if I can get it fixed at a camera repairer or if I have to go through Toshiba? Like everyone else my quote from the company was crazy-I might as well by a new camera. If I can take itto a repair shop-any suggestions in Southern California of where to take it? Thanks for your help!

those toshiba's are only trash camera's, and thats probably where you should take it if you can't fix it yourself...

anything out there that canon/fuji/anyone makes is a better camera and it probably wont cost you much more to just replace the thing
